It seems generally fine, however it crashes occasionally. It is slow which has been reported elsewhere, hence somewhat frustrating. It really struggles with You Tube and Does not work well with Skype as of yet.

After 6 weeks of intermittent use, it stopped charging or even operating plugged in. For a while, it worked as a plug in but failed when screen was rotated to use as a tablet. While it worked it was great- PC by day; Kindle at night. I sent the unit in for warranty repair. It came back marked 'reassembly/recorrection' and worked splendidly for 3 hours. The next morning it was DEAD AGAIN. Just dead, no light on the computer when plugged in. So I'm spending another $40 (UPS insured) to send it back again. Also, I never could get the digitizer/calibrator to work. Pen was always 1/4" off the mark..exasperating to say the least. It is frustrating that the battery is not user accessible. How many times have you cured a laptop problem by removing the battery for 45 seconds? If I could get my money back I'd try a LenovoLenovo S10-3t 0651-37U 10.1-Inch Netbook (Black). BUT IT LOOKS LIKE I'VE GOT A PERMANENT LEMON, and no money is coming back. If it comes back working I'll try and sell it on Amazon or eBay.

I loved it while it was alive and sincerely hope that a reliable machine is in the works.

Really, I have purchase the item "Asus Eee PC T91MT-PU17-BK 8.9-Inch Intel Atom Netbook Computer (Black)" this with a 32GB SSD and 1GB RAM, but the seller send me the item "Asus Eee PC T91SA-VU1X-BK 8.9-Inch Intel Atom Netbook Computer (Black)" this with a 16GB SSD and 16GB Bundle Card with 2GB RAM. The item is wrong but I can't still them now because I make my graduation in IT, I know that I have lost in value and in SSD capacity and the seller have not refund me some US$ like (40-50). About this mitmatch item, I have good impression, it works very good, it comes with windows XP but in the next weeks I will change it to OpenSuse and install also a virtual machine.

What all people say is that the windows is small and it is true, but the definition and resolution is also good. I use the machine every day with many hours, I'm a big man, and I can taste easily on the board with no difficult. I you want buy this item, I recomend pay a little bit more and buy it with a 32GB SSD, and a 2GM RAM is necessary for working better.

Asus customer service assured me that the screen size was roughly 8.9" wide and roughly 6" tall. Not 8.9" diagonally. that makes it roughly 7.75 wide and about 4.5 tall. The keyboard is going to be the same micro size. I don't know about you but I cannot hit one button without hitting 3 at the same time. The screen is too small to view most things. I am very disappointed. I have talked to customer service and they said there was nothing they can do to reimburse me for shipping but t "they will talk to upper management" about it. I live in Hawaii and the shipping was almost $40... so to send it back and get another netbook that is bigger will cost me almost $150. This is not to mention the $30 I spent on a screen protector (so the stylus does not scratch the screen) plus $10 shipping plus $10 to return it. This is a big pain in my butt. Asus has lousy customer support. Be aware also of other reviews complaining about the battery dying on them right after the 6 month warranty expires. The battery is fixed and cannot be replaced by the consumer rendering the netbook useless. BEWARE BEFORE BUYING THIS PRODUCT!!!! "TOO SMALL TO FUNCTION PROPERLY" AND NON_REMOVABLE BATTERY FOR THE CONSUMER!!! Would not have purchased this product had I known this.
