I'm using the LG Rumor Touch with Virgin Mobile, which means I paid the $150 price for it... but I don't have buyers remorse. The phone works very well for what I bought it for: to surf the web at 3G speeds for a pittance. VM's $25 unlimited data plan makes the $150 price tag for the phone palatable for me. The touch screen is decent, not great, but good enough. The full keyboard is very nice-- texting is a joy on this compared to my previous phones. The Opera Mini browser is quite good, also.

Just don't buy this phone thinking you're getting a full-featured smartphone at a budget price. Installing custom ringtones and apps require using workarounds if you want to avoid VM's costly store, and even then the apps available are pretty blah.

Get an iPhone or Android phone if you want apps. If you just want something to text and surf the web at reasonable speeds and on the cheap, this is it.
