I probably should have returned this phone within the 14 day period but I guess I'll deal with my frustrations and maybe it will get easier. I was happy with my T-Mobile Shadow slider phone until the screen cracked so I needed a quick "upgrade". With rebate making this free it seemed to have the most bang for the buck. The graphics are seductive but don't be fooled like I was as too much screen real estate is taken up which makes for awkward scrolling on an annoying touchscreen that seems to have a mind of it's own. The lower data plan cost was also a feature I liked but it doesn't have wifi and browsing the web on a small slow screen has never been much fun for me. The camera images were better than I expected from a 2 megapixel imager. I had to buy a rubberized skin for fear of of the slippery case dropping out of my hand. Another frustration is linking up to my computer. I bought a minUSB data cable...didn't work. Should I spend another 10 bucks for a bluetooth adapter for my computer? Speaking of Bluetooth - linking to my car's bluetooth system is sporatic. Sometimes it automatically links when I enter the car and often it doesn't and I have to turn the phone off and on for it to register. The keyboard forces you to use your fingernail as the keys are flat and tiny. Call quality seems to be OK. The internal speaker is better than expected. Video playback is good. Battery life is good. The Google Maps are a plus but I'll stick to my Garmin for GPS. Many software sites like Handango don't recognise this phone yet so for me to find a decent Texas Hold-em poker game it has been difficult. Guess I'll deal with this phone for my two-year contract extension but I'm not a very happy camper as the navagating frustrations are aggrevating.
