I really enjoy this phone.

There are so many features to keep you entertain. This phone does everything that HTC HD2 has and more. The screen is not as big as the HD2 but it's big enough. Genius button is great. I like the voice command.

you have the option to type in on the touch screen or you can slide out the key pad to text.

I never get to use GPS system yet but looking forward to use it when I need it.

People are talking about the apple's 4g. and I heard that 4g is super fast. But for me, t-mobile family plan is cheeper than At &T, and if the 4g is not available in your area, it will be 3g anyway. 3g is alright for me.(at least for now)

Get this phone if you want the newest and great phone.

I would recommend this phone for everyone.

Laura Fieldssaid...

I've had a few smartphones. First was the T-Mobile Dash, which was a huge piece of crap. Next I had the Blackberry Curve 8900. I was very happy with that phone. I considered upgrading to the Bold 9700 to get 3G, yet stick to the Blackberry functionality I liked so much. My husband was nuts about Android though, so I decided to give this phone a whirl instead.

Overall, I like the phone a lot. My first one had terrible battery life and a creaky casing so I switched it out. Battery life is better and the casing feels tougher on my 2nd one, though it does have a bit of a cheap feel to it.

Android is lots of fun. Tons of apps available, and it seems to allow a lot more flexibility than the iPhone. I've played with the 3G iPhone and I think I prefer this phone to it (though I have not played with the new 4G). I have not had any problems with the phone locking up or experiencing a ton of delays. I have it set up with 7 screens, which I love.

The camera is okay. It's maybe equal to the 3 MP phone on my Blackberry. It could be better but it takes passable pictures. They tend to blur and there's a significant delay so you never really get the picture you think you're going to get.

Swype is awesome. I got the Slide for the keyboard, since I was used to the Blackberry and didn't really love the on-screen-only keyboard on the iPhone. I've found I hardly ever use the keyboard, because Swype works so well. it's very fast and very smart.

I was most concerned about battery life. It's okay. If I turn off everything (network, wireless, GPS, sync), I can get a full 2 days out of it with it off at night. With the network and sync on it'll last one day. I invested in a couple of extra batteries & a battery charger, which I found cheap on Ebay. That way I can swap out the battery if I find myself in a situation where I'm very low and can't charge. This is one area where the Blackberry I had was definitely superior.

The Nav app that comes with the phone is amazing. I've played with GPS before and they usually are awful. This one works great and never gets me lost.

MyModes sounded good on paper, but in reality it's pretty much useless. I'm still looking for an app that will give me everything I need for profiles/modes. MyModes is definitely not it. It could be great if they'd invest some more time developing it.

My husband has the same phone and he likes Genius a lot, which allows you to speak commands. I have not been impressed myself. It rarely understands what I say no matter how clearly I speak, and usually I end up giving up and doing what I need to do on the phone instead.

So overall, great phone, fun to use, but it could be better, especially for the price. I would recommend it, but I bet the next round will be even better.

Sashasaid...

I was so excited for this phone to come out. I have used it for three days and I love it!! It has amazing features that are a must have! I enjoy the Swype keyboard, easy to use! I also love the Genius Button! My modes is also awesome where you can have two separent 5-7 home screens for home and away.

I love the idea that now new phones are coming with USB cords that you use to charge your phone to the way, because I was always sad when I had to spend more money to buy a USB cord and mind you those aren't very cheap to come by, unless you can find one that is right for your phone but I have always found it a hassle.
